The Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, one of the centers affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, received the new academic year 2023/2024. The center’s management was keen to provide a group of new services and modernize the existing services at the center. In preparation for receiving new members, and providing them with what they need in the educational and rehabilitation process at the center.

Mrs. Lailaa Muhammad Abu Alfain, Executive Director of the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, stated that these services that have been developed or have been introduced in the center come to meet the needs of the center’s members during their new academic year, and this comes within the framework of the center’s concern for the comfort of its members, from By providing appropriate services to students in various fields.
 She said: The center’s management seeks to prepare, develop and implement educational, pedagogical and training programmes, plans and strategies that are appropriate for members with mild and moderate mental disabilities and autism and to develop all their abilities, in addition to providing other supportive services such as modified sports, assistive technology and artistic and musical education. The management also seeks to Developing the capabilities of male and female teachers in the field of special education.
She pointed out that the center seeks to provide educational, rehabilitative, social, health, recreational and vocational services to the center’s members with disabilities, and to provide family support and guidance services to the families of the target groups, including individual and group guidance.
 In this context, the Shafallah Center organized a ceremony to welcome the center’s employees, which included many entertaining and educational events and also included many competitions, within an entertaining, challenging and exciting atmosphere.
