- Qatar's health system has become unique, and globally trusted.
The Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities announced that within the framework of the continuous cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Department of Medical Services (Dental Clinic), a mobile dental treatment unit will be provided starting next October, to provide comprehensive health care to the center's affiliates of various categories and special needs.
This cooperation comes with the aim of providing integrated oral and dental health services to the various groups affiliated with the center, which include: the Department of Early Childhood, the Department of Mild and Moderate Intellectual Disability, the Department of Severe Disability, the Department of Autism, and the Department of Rehabilitation and Vocational Training. Curative and preventive services will also be provided with a focus on early detection of diseases related to oral health.

She added that the health system in the State of Qatar has become distinguished at the regional and global levels, as it focuses on universal health coverage for all members of society and aims to improve the health of the Qatari community.
Al Suwaidi stressed that the State of Qatar, under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, continues to promote a strong healthcare system that ensures universal health coverage, praising the National Health Strategy launched by the Ministry of Health as part of the Qatar National Vision 2030, and the Third National Development Strategy (2030).

She pointed out that the Shafallah Center always seeks, as part of its awareness plan in the health field, to coordinate and cooperate with government agencies and private sector institutions, with the aim of providing medical services and health awareness to the center's affiliates, in addition to cooperating in international events for people with disabilities.
At the end of her statement, Mrs. Maryam Saif Al Suwaidi stressed that raising awareness of the importance of oral and dental health for persons with disabilities should be an essential part of their rehabilitation and integration programs into society, with the need to guide and train their families and workers to ensure the best results.
For her part, Major Dr. Shaikha Jassim Al-Abduljabbar, Orthodontic Consultant and Dental Clinic Officer at the Medical Services Department and representative of the Ministry of Interior in the National Committee for Oral and Dental Health, explained that this initiative comes within the annual medical services management plan to contribute to community activities and events and emphasize the role of the Ministry of Interior in strengthening the relationship with the community, raising awareness and improving the oral health of people with disabilities.
The official of dental clinics at the Medical Services Department at the Ministry of Interior confirmed that in cooperation with the Shafallah Center, it aims to provide awareness advice to the center's affiliates, and to provide a mobile dental treatment unit to conduct appropriate examinations and treatment.
She pointed out that the dental clinics in the Medical Services Department include highly experienced human cadres, in addition to the availability of the latest medical devices, which contributes to providing high-quality health care to the affiliates of the Shafallah Center, praising the fruitful and constructive cooperation with the center.
