The Launch of Summer Activities at the Shafallah Center

The Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, one of the centers of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has begun its summer activity, targeting all its members from the age of 3 to 21 years with mild disabilities and autism.
The Shafallah Center has adopted a slogan for the summer activity (We will continue for you). The activities and events offered by the summer activity at the center are varied this year. The summer activity will be held during the period from (June 4, 2023) to (June 26, 2023), and the summer activity begins during the weekdays from Sunday. Until Thursday at the Shafallah Center building in Lusail. As for working hours, they will be from eight in the morning until twelve in the afternoon.
In this context, Mrs. Laalie Muhammad Abu Alfain - Executive Director of the Shafallah Center, said that the summer activity aims to strengthen the initiative of the Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities in providing the best educational, training and rehabilitation services to its members, and to contribute to moving the members from the routine and usual atmosphere through implementing various activities within the framework of Suitable entertainment that suits their abilities and needs, as she confirmed that the center has coordinated and communicated with a number of parties concerned with the activities.
She noted that the summer activity contributes to activating the role of extracurricular activities with the aim of providing members with experience and skills during the summer period and seeking to employ the members’ abilities and potentials by implementing purposeful activities to occupy their free time.
