It’s the process of measuring the developmental abilities of individuals and specifying their strengths and weaknesses. Each case is evaluated by a psychiatrist in the center and then referred to other departments for further evaluation according to their areas of need (psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language, social support, medical care, special education). Evaluations are carried out by using the latest evaluation tools, and those who are evaluated get a comprehensive report on their assessment results and recommendations.

The evaluation process takes place before admission into the center in order to assess the individual’s abilities and condition and whether the center can provide them the services that they need. The individual can be re-evaluated after some time if needed (according to the recommendation of a psychiatrist or the educational team at the center, or if the family needs a recent report)
