The United Nations General Assembly is aware that Autism is a lifelong condition and decided to mark this date to celebrate and spread awareness. Autism is caused by differences in the brain and its signs appear during the first three years of life. Many children around the world; regardless of their gender, ethnicity or social condition;  could be diagnosed with autism.
